Rosensweig Named Head of Activision's Red Octane

Activision BlizzardActivision, part of Activision Blizzard, has hired Dan Rosensweig as President and Chief Executive Officer of RedOctane, the group (now owned by Activision) that created the Guitar Hero franchise. The Huang brothers, who founded and ran Red Octane, will report to Rosensweig.
Prior to joining Activision, Rosensweig spent two years working with a private investment firm. He has also worked at Yahoo! and Ziff Davis for much of his career.
