Cengage Learning recently launched several new game development books:
Beginning OpenGL Game Programming: Second Edition is designed to get programmers started on the OpenGL API if they have a background in C++ programming.

Behavioral Mathematics for Game AI "covers both the psychological foundations of human decisions and the mathematical modeling techniques that AI designers and programmers can use to replicate them."

Game Coding Complete, Third Edition is an introduction to the entire game development process.

From Gamer to Game Designer: The Official Far Cry 2 Map Editing Guide specifically covers the process of making multiplayer maps for Far Cry 2.

Going to War: Creating Computer Wargames teaches people how to create wargames using Multimedia Fusion 2.
