Ubisoft to Distribute Wheelman in March

| | Comments (0)
MidwayMidway has worked out a deal with Ubisoft that will see Ubisoft take care of the sales, marketing and distribution for its game Wheelman. Midway will continue to be responsible for the game's development and Midway retains the rights to the franchise. Midway's recent bankruptcy filing cast some doubt on the status of Wheelman, but the company still claims the game will ship for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on March 24. The interesting details, of course, are the financial arrangements that Midway did not disclose. If any part of this arrangement isn't considered to be done at standard market values (or isn't in the interest of Midway's creditors), the deal could be blocked by Midway's creditors.
