SideWinder X8 Mouse Ships to Stores

| | Comments (0)
MicrosoftMicrosoft has shipped its SideWinder X8 Mouse to stores this week. This latest entry in Microsoft's line of SideWinder mouse products is designed specifically for gaming, offering approximately 30 hours of wireless play on a single charge and a wireless 2.4GHz connection.
Microsoft advertises that the mouse tracks motion by capturing 13,000 frames per second with a tracking range from 250 dpi to 4,000 dpi. This leads us to think that latency from the wireless connection is more likely to be a source of (minor) error than the optical system on the mouse.
