Games Become Critical Part of Blockbuster's Total Access Strategy

As part of its ongoing effort to compete with movie rental service Netflix, Blockbuster has decided to try out game rentals with its "Total Access" program. Starting in the second quarter, Blockbuster will begin renting Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox and PlayStation 2 games to allow Total Access customers to rent games (in addition to movies) by mail or through their retail locations.
