Ubisoft Reports Higher Sales, Confirms Assassin's Creed 2

UbisoftUbisoft reported certain financial results for its fiscal third quarter ended December 31, 2008.
For the quarter, Ubisoft reported sales of €508 million (around $659 million) compared to €450 million in the same quarter the previous year. Keep in made that the reported number is not an indication of profitability, only Ubisoft's sales. Ubisoft credits higher than expected sales of Shaun White Snowboarding, Far Cry 2, Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party and the Imagine line of casual titles.


Ubisoft also reported that I Am Alive is being delayed until the next fiscal year (sometime between March 31, 2009 and March 31 2010). Ubisoft also confirmed Assassin's Creed 2 by name for the same time period.
