SCi Entertainment Files to Change Name to Eidos

SCi Entertainment has filed with the U.K. Registrar of Companies to formally change its name to Eidos. SCi previously acquired Eidos and is now its holding company, but is pursuing the sensible strategy of changing its name to fit its most recognizable brand.

Update: SCi Entertainment confirmed later in the day that its name will change to Eidos plc tomorrow, and its trading symbol will change from SEG to EID.
