Mytheon's Microtransactions Coming in 2009
True Games has identified the online game it is working on with developer Petroglyph (the studio behind Star Wars: Empire at War). The game is called Mytheon and is an online action and strategy game that will support itself with microtransactions.
Players will venture through the mythological dangers of ancient Greece (possibly expanding to other cultures over time) and pay for additional customization or the ability to cast certain spells and summon certain creatures. The game will be released in late 2009.
