Massive Extends Its In-Game Advertising Reach

| | Comments (0)
Massive, a provider of in-game advertising owned by Microsoft, has signed a few new clients. Blizzard (part of Activision Blizzard) has signed up to have Massive provide ads for the Battle.net service (and Blizzard's web sites) in most areas of the world. Massive has also signed a multi-year agreement to deliver in-game ads for 18 Activision games on the PC and Xbox 360, including James Bond: Quantum of Solace and Guitar Hero: World Tour.
Massive also pointed out that it has recently been responsible for placing ads in games for presidential candidate Barack Obama, placing destructible ads in Mercenaries 2 and running an in-game scavenger hunt in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2.
