NCsoftNCsoft released certain information concerning its third fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2008.
For the quarter, NCsoft reported net income of 5.010 billion Korean Won ($3.6 million), including a substantial income tax expense of 3.032 billion Korean Won. This compares with net income of 10.075 billion Korean Won in the same quarter the previous year.

By game, the vast majority of sales still come from NCsoft's flagship titles, Lineage (36%) and Lineage II (48%). City of Heroes and Villains (8%), Guild Wars (5%) and Tabula Rasa (2%) make up much of the remainder of sales.

Interestingly, the financial statements report that City of Heroes and Villains had 124,939 subscribers in September 2008, with (at most) 13,443 concurrent users. Information on Guild Wars was presented on a different basis, with NCsoft simply noting that 5.589 million Guild Wars accounts have been created since the game's launch.
