JoWooD Reports Successful Distribution Results in Acceptable Third Quarter

For the quarter, JoWooD reported revenues of €18.595 million (around $23 million) compared to €17.112 million in the same quarter the previous year. The company also reported earnings before income taxes of €1.836 million (around $2 million) compared to €2.580 million in the same quarter the prior year.

JoWooD attributed its results to its focus in this quarter on distribution of games rather than publishing of its own titles. As JoWooD pointed out, that decreased its margins, but substantially decreased the company's risks.
