Infogrames Reports Large First-Half Loss

Infogrames, the parent of Atari, announced certain fiscal results for the first half of its fiscal year, a six-month period ended September 30, 2008.
For the six month period, the company reported a net loss of €50.6 million (around $64 million) compared to a net loss in the same period the prior year of €34.7 million. Infogrames was pleased with its revenue growth, but tried to downplay the large net loss.


By region, 28% of the Infogrames Group's revenues came from the United States, with Europe providing 58% of revenues.
