Turbine Opens New Studio in California
Turbine, the developer and publisher behind massively multiplayer online games such as The Lord of the Rings Online, is opening a new development studio in Redwood City, CA.
The new, west-coast studio will expand Turbine's presence, and is being staffed by several new hires. Matt McKnight, who most recently worked at Sniper Studios, will serve as the new Studio Director. Dave Brevik, most recently of Flagship Studios, has been hired as "Chief Visionary Officer," and Jeff Lind (also formerly of Flagship Studios) will be Director of Engineering.
