Nintendo Reports Higher Six-Month Net Profit

NintendoNintendo reported selected financial results for the first half of its fiscal year, a six-month period ended September 30, 2008.
During the six month period, Nintendo reported net profit of ¥144.828 billion (around $1.5 billion) compared to ¥132.421 billion in the same period the previous year.


Through the end of September 2008, Nintendo reported that it has shipped 84.33 million DS units (that's more than the 81.36 million GBA units the company has shipped) and 34.55 million Wii units.
