Spore Ships to Stores
Electronic Arts has shipped Spore to stores. Don't go wild – if you're in North America, you still can't purchase it. The game is on sale today in most of Europe. Tomorrow, the game will be released in the remainder of Europe and in South America. On Sunday, gamers in North America will be able to purchase Spore.
Spore is the latest project from Will Wright and the Maxis studio, allowing players to guide a civilization from the earliest stages of evolution through global conquest and, ultimately, galactic exploration.
The galaxy should already be quite full, as people have been using the Spore Creature Creator to populate the galaxy with unusual and unlikely species.
Most gamers are excited for the PC and Mac versions of the game, although the DS and mobile versions will include aspects of the same title.
