Majesco is Back in the Black Thanks to Casual Games

| | Comments (0)
MajescoMajesco Entertainment reported its financial results for its third fiscal quarter ended July 31, 2008.
For the quarter, Majesco reported net income of $520,000, compared to a net loss in the same quarter the previous year of $1.548 million. Majesco has switched from attempting to create AAA games for core gamers and is now focusing on mass-market and casual games, particularly for the Wii and DS. By platform, 56.2% of Majesco's game sales were on the DS and 37.2% were on the Wii. Together with Majesco being back in the black, that suggests the company's strategy is working as planned.
