| | Comments (0)
PlayStation 3Sony announced plans to release a wireless keypad peripheral for the PlayStation 3 in November in North America and by the end of the year in Japan, Europe and the rest of Asia.
The keypad will be able to be snugly attached to SixAxis and DualShock controllers and will make it significantly easier to indulge in text chat or enter text information on the PlayStation 3. It will also feature two shortcut buttons: a "Communication Button" will immediately jump to the "Friends" section of the XrossMediaBar (XMB) while a "Message Box Button" will immediately jump to the inbox on the XMB even during play.
