Microsoft Planning Gaming Mouse and Keyboard

| | Comments (0)
MicrosoftMicrosoft plans to release new PC gaming hardware in September – the SideWinder X5 Mouse and the SideWinder X6 keyboard.
The SideWinder X5 mouse should cost $60 and is a 2,000 DPI mouse with five customizable buttons and a "Quick-Launch" button that immediately launches Windows Vista Games Explorer

The SideWinder X6 keyboard will cost $80, and while it will sport a variety of features, its main selling point is the movable key pad. The key pad can be attached to either the right or left side of the keyboard, and can be used as a conventional number pad, or as a pad capable of storing up to 90 macros. The keyboard will also include two-color adjustable back lighting, front-face lighting on the WASD keys and a "cruise control" designed to continue a key press action without having to hold down the button. The keyboard will also have a Quick Launch button, like that on the SideWinder X5 mouse.
