FIFA Soccer '09 to Get Live Updates, But Not for Free

| | Comments (0)
Electronic ArtsJust as Electronic Arts announced it will be regularly updating NBA Live '09, the company is planning on providing weekly updates to FIFA Soccer '09... at a price.
When FIFA Soccer '09 launches, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC gamers will be able to pay to have player information updated dynamically for the 2008-2009 season. While the costs have not been set, this is in line with EA's promise to make microtransactions a bigger part of the game experience.

Initially, these updates "will be available for Barclay's Premier League, La Liga BBVA, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Serie A and Mexican Primera Division."
