ESA Receives Reimbursement From California For Attorney's Fees

Entertainment Software AssociationThe Entertainment Software Association received its check for $282,794 from the state of California, reimbursing the ESA for attorney's fees incurred while litigating the states bill to restrict the sale of games.
This payment was pursued by the ESA after a judge ruled on August 6, 2007 that a California law regulating the sale of computer and video games. The payment is to cover the ESA's attorney's costs working to contest the unconstitutional law.
