Vivendi Games Reports Limited Financials, Relies Almost Entirely on Blizzard

| | Comments (0)
Vivendi reported certain financial results for the first half of the company's fiscal year operations, ended June 30, 2008.
Vivendi Games, prior to being joined with Activision, reported revenues for the first half of the year of €444 million, compared to revenues of €500 million in the first half of 2007. Of that number, €378 million came from Blizzard, showing how important Blizzard is to the success of the company. Vivendi pointed out that this year's revenues were lower since World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade was released during the period last year, whereas World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King isn't out yet.
