THQ Reports Massive First Quarter Loss

THQ reported its financial results for its first fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2008.
For the quarter, THQ reported a net loss of $27.224 million compared to a net loss of $9.274 million in the same quarter the prior year. While company representatives had a lot to say about the large net loss, these comments boil down to the equivalent of, "We're working on it."

By platform, 19.8% of revenues came from DS games, 17.0% came from Wii games, 16.8% came from PC games and 14.6% came from Xbox 360 games, with other platforms making up the remainder.
