Tabula Rasa Players to Have Dreams and DNA Sent Into Space

| | Comments (0)
Operation ImmortalityNCsoft and Richard Garriott have announced a remarkable promotion for the massively multiplayer online game Tabula Rasa. When Richard Garriott travels to the International Space Station in October, he plans to bring with him the "Immortality Drive" – a sort-of save game for humanity.
The "Immortality Drive" will be a digital time capsule that will contain the digitized DNA of certain famous persons and Tabula Rasa players. Every week, eight players will be selected from the game (including those who simply sign up for a free trial) to have their DNA digitized and added to the capsule. Also, players with active accounts on September 2, 2008 will have their Tabula Rasa character data sent into space on the Immortality Drive.

More details are available at the official Operation Immortality site
