Microsoft Lowers Cost of Xbox 360 Storage Devices (Effectively Lowering Cost of Core Console)
The rumors have been made official: Microsoft is now offering a larger hard drive with the Xbox 360 console, and offering the old console bundle at a lower price.
The standard Xbox 360 will now include a 60 GB storage device for $349, while an Xbox 360 with a 20 GB hard drive will only cost $300. Microsoft will continue offering the Xbox 360 Arcade version (no hard drive, with a 256 MB storage unit) for $279 and the Xbox 360 Elite console with a 120 GB hard drive for $449.
