Infinity Ward Sticking With Activision

| | Comments (0)
In an update on his blog, Robert Bowling (Director of Communications for Infinity Ward, developer behind Call of Duty 4) confirmed that the developer has extended its contract with Activision.
From the post: "The recently renegotiated deal may not seem like much of an impact from the outside perspective, but it has laid the ground work and kick started our future project, as well as the possibility of a unique new IP by Infinity Ward, that we'll have complete control over. We're excited to be working on our next project, but it's going to be quite a while before I can share any details on exactly what that project is."

In other words, you can expect more Call of Duty from Infinity Ward, and the developer is working on something new and unannounced. Infinity Ward is also expanding its development staff to support these efforts.
