EA Differentiating Versions of FIFA Soccer '09
Electronic Arts is determined that when it releases FIFA Soccer '09 late this year, it will differentiate the experience available on each platform.
Well, perhaps the game won't be different on every platform, but EA is doing its best to make sure that different versions don't just seem like shallow ports. The version available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will do its best to provide a vivid soccer simulation, including new animations and physics. The PC version will include higher-resolution characters and the ability to really crank the graphics on the game, along with customizable mouse controls. The Wii version will include an 8 on 8 "Footii Match" mode that will use Miis and provide an exaggerated and humorous version of soccer. The PlayStation 2 version will receive tweaked graphics and new skill moves, while the handheld versions (on the DS and PSP) will receive a new camera mode.
