Apogee Reaches a New Height

Apogee, a company that released games in the 1980s using a shareware distribution model, is returning to publish retail games based on its classic properties, with Scott Miller and Terry Nagy at the helm.
The first game that Apogee plans to re-release will be Duke Nukem. Originally released in 1991, Apogee plans to release the Duke Nukem Trilogy for handheld gaming systems. The game will include three episodes: Critical Mass, Chain Reaction and Proving Grounds.

July 15, 2008 Update: Deep Silver, part of Koch Media, will co-publish Apogee's titles.
