Three More Games Downloadable for the Wii

| | Comments (0)
It's yet another Monday, so Nintendo has launched more downloadable games to the Wii Shop Channel. While Nintendo is still making a distinction between classic games re-released as part of the "Wii Virtual Console" program and new games released under the "WiiWare" rubric, they're all just downloadable games as far as Frictionless Insight is concerned.
The latest games to be added are:

Critter Round-Up is a new puzzle game from Konami that has players mending fences to corral animals and participating in mini-games with the various critters.

SkyKid was originally released for the NES and is being ported to the Wii. The game is a side-scrolling shooter that has players defending Bird Land by dropping bombs on enemy command posts.

Star Soldier R from Hudson Entertainment is a shooter in which players pilot a hastily assembled starfighter to defeat the incoming Brain Forces. The goal of the game is to amass as high a score as possible in play sessions of two or five minutes.
