THQ to Make Marvel Super Hero Squad Games

| | Comments (0)
THQ has entered into a licensing agreement with Marvel Entertainment to make video games based on the Marvel Super Hero Squad.
Marvel Super Hero Squad is a kid-friendly superhero property that Simon Phillips (President of Marvel International and Head of Worldwide Animation and Video Games) describes as "...a great entry point for kids to experience our renowned characters." It is designed to bring familiar Marvel characters to an audience of 4-10 year old children. THQ's first game should reach stores in late 2009, around the same time as the animated television series debuts. A dedicated printed comic series for the Marvel Super Hero Squad should reach stores late this year.
