PlanetSide Merging Servers

Sony Online Entertainment is consolidating the North American servers for its massively multiplayer online first-person shooter PlanetSide into a single server.
The Markov and Emerald servers will be merged into a single server dubbed "Gemini" effective on May 20, 2008. This is part of an effort to keep the five-year-old game's server population high and keep battles interesting.
