Four More Downloadable Games Reach the Wii

| | Comments (0)
Nintendo isn't at all slowed by the Memorial Day Holiday here in the United States, and is still releasing four downloadable games for the Wii.
Two classic games are being rereleased under the Virtual Console brand: City Connection is a port of the version originally released for the NES (based on the arcade game) and has players painting roads white despite interference from the police. Metal Slug is a version of the side-scrolling shooter originally released for the NeoGeo in which well-armed players seek to recover a stolen weapon.

Two games are also being released under the WiiWare Rubric: Dr. Mario Online Rx was developed by Nintendo and brings the classic Dr. Mario puzzle play online so that players can battle one another while stacking capsules of prescription drugs. Family Table Tennis was developed by Aksys Games and has players engaging in ping-pong battles with four family members as the potential protagonists.
