Doom 4 Now in Production
In a posting on id Software's official site, the company announced that it has started production on Doom 4.
Todd Hollenshead, the CEO of id Software said "DOOM is part of the id Software DNA and demands the greatest talent and brightest minds in the industry to bring the next installment of our flagship franchise to Earth," implying that the next Doom game will take place closer to home than Doom 3.
id Software is looking to fill a variety of development positions on the product, suggesting that Doom 4 is still in its earliest stages.
