Codemasters Snags Formula One Racing License

| | Comments (0)
Codemasters has acquired the exclusive right (for a time) to make games based on Formula One racing featuring all Grand Prix circuits, Formula One teams, cars and drivers.
Codemasters will create a series of FIA Formula One World Championship games for consoles, handheld gaming devices and the PC, with the first such games coming in 2009.

A reference by Rod Cousens, Chief Executive Officer of Codemasters, to "Formula 1 Online" also suggests that Codemasters and Formula One Administration Limited are considering an online racing game based on the sport.
