BioShock On Its Way to Becoming Universal Pictures Film
Take-Two Interactive revealed that it has reached an agreement with Universal Pictures to develop BioShock into a feature film.
While the terms of the agreement were not disclosed, and the projected release date was not revealed, the deal sounds significantly more advanced than most game-to-movie deals (that are typically options to make a film). Gore Verbinski, director of the Pirates of the Caribbean films will direct and produce the flick, and talks are underway to have John Logan (Gladiator, The Aviator and Sweeny Todd) write the screenplay.
