The Sims Reaches Major Sales Milestone

| | Comments (0)
Electronic Arts is reminding everyone of the success of its The Sims games, now that the franchise has hit a sales milestone.
The first The Sims game launched in 2000, has spawned two sequels (The Sims 3 is currently in development), countless expansions, and seemingly endless user created content. Since then, Electronic Arts says, 100 million units of The Sims franchise games have been sold in 22 languages and 60 countries around the world. That makes The Sims the best selling PC franchise of all time.

To celebrate, interested gamers who visit TheSims2.com today will be able to download a commemorative outfit.
