The Chronicles of Spellborn Delayed, Working on North American Publisher

| | Comments (0)
Spellborn NV, the company developing the massively multiplayer online game The Chronicles of Spellborn, and European publisher Frogster Interactive have signed a letter of intent with a North American publisher, making it more likely that the game will be released in North America. At the same time, the companies announced that the release date for the game has been pushed back again.
Currently, Frogster says that The Chronicles of Spellborn will launch in late 2008, offering the usual excuse that Spellborn wants to take more time to "thoroughly optimize and polish" the game's play. While the announcement of a possible North American publisher is great for North American gamers, the delay announcement is confusing, given that at GDC, Spellborn was predicting a 2009 North American release date.
