GreenScreen Entertainment Announces Self to World
Today, GreenScreen Interactive Software burst onto the scene as a new game publisher. The company also announced the acquisition of two other companies.
GreenScreen has appointed Ron Chaimowitz as the company's Chief Executive Officer (Chaimowitz previously founded GT Interactive).
GreenScreen also confirmed that it has acquired two other publishers, but did not disclose the terms of the acquisitions. One is Sicklerville, NJ-based Destination Software that specializes in casual games. The other acquisition is Sheffield UK-based Zoo Digital Publishing.
In an interview with Newsweek, Chaimowitz revealed that the company was initially founded by Ryan Brant, Mark Seremet and Susan Cummings. Brant and Seremet founded Take-Two Interactive (and were recently barred from taking positions in a public company in a settlement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission). Chaimowitz reportedly confirmed to Newsweek that Brant will not be an officer of the company or serve on its board.
