| | Comments (0)
Sony revealed that the next (v2.20) firmware update for the PlayStation 3 will include a number of updates, as well as support for Blu-ray Disc Profile 2.0.
Blu-ray Disc Profile 2.0 (also sometimes called BD-Live) improves the interactivity of Blu-ray discs, allowing discs to include better, interactive games and downloadable content linked to content available on the internet. Also the update will allow media playlists to be sent to a connected PSP. The update will also include the ability to resume play at a location (even if the disc is removed), enhanced browsing functions and a better noise filter for media.
