Ubisoft Acquires Tom Clancy Name for Games
Ubisoft has acquired the right to use the "Tom Clancy" name on a perpetual basis with video games and other merchandise based on those video games.
Ubisoft did not disclose the price of this cash transaction, but strongly implied that it cost around €20 million (around $31 million) this year by disclosing the company's changing cash position. Ubisoft will have future payments to make over the next two fiscal years.
