Cryptic Creating Champions Online

Cryptic Studios officially has another outlet for its superheroic ambitions. Cryptic plans to both develop and publish Champions Online in the first half of 2009.
Cryptic Studios has acquired the Champions property from Hero Games. In addition to developing the game, Cryptic plans to publish the sixth edition of Champions in 2009 along with rules for how to recreate Champions Online characters and scenarios in the pencil & paper game. When the game is released, it should arrive on certain consoles as well as the PC.
