Branding Turns Around at EA

| | Comments (0)
Typically, throughout the history of videogames, game publishers license brands (like Madden for football or Cabela for hunting) and turn them into games. Today, EA announced that it is working with IMG to license the EA Sports brand. EA hopes that IMG will help the company make money by slapping the EA Sports brand on other things.
According to EA, "Under the agreement, IMG will partner with EA Sports to license and market its brand in a variety of new product categories which could include sports camps, gaming lounges, publishing products, performance apparel and more."
