IGG Completes $4.5 Million in Funding

IGG (Internet Gaming Gate), an online portal that provides a variety of massively multiplayer online games such as Zu Online and Tales of Pirates, has completed a round of financing.
IGG received an investment of $4.5 million as its Series A round of funding led by IDG Technology Venture Investment Partners (IDGVC). IGG launched its first game in May of 2006 and received the funding on the strength of its 3.5 million registered user base.
