"W00t" is 2007 Word of the Year

Dictionary publisher Merriam-Webster offered users a list of 20 words from which to vote one as Word of the Year for 2007. These words were based on words frequently searched for online at Merriam-Webster's site. Users voted for "W00t" as the 2007 Word of the Year.
Merriam-Webster is using the definition of "W00t" as an expression of joy similar to "yay." Merriam-Webster seems to accept both zeros and "o" letters as legitimate alternate spellings.
