New Games and Features Available for the Wii Shop Channel

| | Comments (0)
Most Mondays, Nintendo releases three downloadable games through the Wii Shop Channel. Today, Nintendo has added two new features along with the usual three games.
One of the games released today, Pokemon Snap, is key to one of the new Wii features. The game was originally released for the Nintendo 64 system and has players taking pictures of elusive pokemon. The version of the game that is downloadable for the Wii allows players to post pictures taken in the game to their Wii Message Board and share them with friends.

The other two games released today are Baseball Stars 2 (a baseball game originally released for the NeoGeo) and Ghosts'n Goblins (a platformer based on the coin-op arcade game of the same name).

The second new feature for the Wii Shop Channel is the ability to send downloadable games as gifts to anyone with whom you've exchanged friend codes.
