Microsoft Releases HD DVD Middleware

Microsoft has released an Xbox 360 HD DVD emulator designed to help companies create HD DVD content and test it before actually pressing discs.
Certainly, Microsoft hopes that by releasing such tools they will increase the adoption rates of HD DVD. The tool uses the Xbox 360 and related HD DVD player to allow companies to debug prospective HD DVD content.
