GameStop Opens Tournament Center

| | Comments (0)
GameStop has opened a new kind of store in San Jose, CA.
This store is not only a larger-than-usual retail store, it includes a tournament center with 24 networked gaming stations.

While many companies have been starting up competitive gaming leagues, this demonstrates a major U.S. retail chain deciding that tournament play is an important draw, and worth investing in. Of course, the location also makes it an ideal place for game-industry related events.
