Vivendi Games Continues Strong Performance Thanks to World of Warcraft

| | Comments (0)
Vivendi, the parent of Vivendi Games with labels like Sierra and Blizzard, announced its third quarter financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2007.
Given Vivendi's vast holdings, it's overall results may not be of interest to gamers. Vivendi Games, however, continues to perform spectacularly well, largely on the strength of World of Warcraft. Vivendi Games reported revenues of €716 million (around $1 billion) for the first nine months of the year, 49.8%. Because this is for a nine-month period, it includes the launch of The Burning Crusade expansion for World of Warcraft earlier this year in North America and Europe and more recently in China.
