Nintendo Gloats Over Early Holiday Sales

| | Comments (0)
Nintendo is so pleased with its sales results for the first week of the 2007 holiday shopping season, that it wants to gloat about those numbers to everyone.
According to Nintendo's internal numbers, in the week spanning Sunday, November 18 through Saturday, November 24 Nintendo sold 653,000 DS systems in the US. That beats Nintendo's previous internal record of 600,000 GBA systems sold in the US in the equivalent week in 2005. Nintendo also claims to have sold 350,000 Wii consoles to US customers that week – more than any week since the console's launch. Nintendo is, clearly, excited.
