Activision Reports Small Second Quarter Profit

Activision revealed the results of its fiscal second quarter ended September 30, 2007.
For the quarter, Activision reported net income of $698,000, compared to a net loss of $24.302 million in the same period the previous year. This latest quarter represents Activision's highest second quarter revenues ever, and a serious turnaround from last year.

During this latest quarter, 51% of revenues came from North America. By platform, 47% of revenues came from PlayStation 2 games, followed by 23% of revenues from Xbox 360 games and 8% of revenues from DS games.
