Verizon Gloats About Game Revenues

Sometimes, companies just like to gloat. When they do it well, it can incent investors to stick with or improve their investment in a company. When it's interesting, we'll pass it on.
In this case, Verizon is gloating over its game revenues.

Verizon Wireless is excited that it received 28% more revenue from game sales this September than it did in the same month last year. Verizon Wireless says that customers have engaged in "50 million game transactions this year." While that must include extra content and rentals, Verizon is quick to point out that according to The Nielsen Company, the average price of a mobile game is $4.70.
